Irises Painting
The irises painting brings together warm and cool tones in a perfect marriage that’s sure to complete any room in your home with that little something extra.
A replica of a Van Gogh masterpiece Irises 1889 – this painting has a uniquely subdued vibrancy that celebrates growth and life in a beautifully abstract form.
Looking at this image, you see more than foliage and flowers; it’s as if it has its own emotional aura. Exquisitely detailed foreground pulls the focus with a texture that creates a three-dimensional effect while soft background flowers depict depth. The Van Gogh Irises Painting can either work as a focal point in a room or beautifully complement other pieces of your perfectly curated collection.
Vincent Van Gogh started painting Irises within a week of entering the asylum, in May 1889, working from nature in the hospital garden. There is a lack of high tension which is seen in his later works. He called painting “the lightning conductor for my illness” because he felt that he could keep himself from going insane by continuing to paint.
Van Gogh created many paintings of flowers, Landscapes and applied thick color on each painting, to create depth and structure in his artworks.
Among his most famous oil paintings is the Cafè Terrace at Night painting, also known as “Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum”
